Solicitor – Criminal Department Prathna began her studies at the University of Hull where she gained her LLB. She then attended The College of Law in London where she embarked on her Legal Practice Course. She started her legal career in a High Street Law Firm on the outskirts of London. Prathna was soon appointed as a Trainee Solicitor at Saunders Solicitors LLP, which, she completed in 2007. On qualification as a solicitor she remained with the firm and practices in criminal law. She has been involved in a number of cases among which include, but are not limited to drugs, robbery and serious criminal matters. Prathna also represents clients involved with terrorist offences. Most notably she recently travelled to Pakistan as part of her preparation for a terrorism case. Whilst in Pakistan Prathna wrote a journal an extract upon which was published in the Law Society Gazette. She regularly attends magistrates’ courts as an advocate and represents suspects at police stations.
