Poland: A Successful Transition?

Saunders Law Solicitor Kate Boguslawska was invited by BNE IntelliNews to take part as a panellist in the event, entitled "Poland: A Successful Transition?" together with the current Polish Ambassador to the UK HE Witold Sobkow and the former UK Ambassador to Warsaw Charles Crawford. The panel discussed Poland's political and economic journey over the last two deceased and the prospect for Poland's economical development in the future.

Uniquely among the economies of the European Union, Poland was able to avoid recession during the financial crisis. Today, Poland is the eight largest economy in the European Union in real GDP terms and attracts foreign investment. Having advised Polish companies here in the UK and British companies establishing themselves in Poland Kate has been able to offer her perspective on the changes that took place in Poland and discussed how her clients have changed over the years and in the context of the changes that took place in Poland.
