Saoirse also spent two years as an immigration caseworker at Refugee and Migrant Justice and has a particular interest in immigration detention claims.
Polly and Saoirse join the team headed by James Saunders and Nia Williams preparing High Court claims for wrong doing by police officers and other public officials in the aftermath of the Hillsborough tragedy.
James Saunders, Managing Director of Saunders Law said: " Our instructions from the Hillsborough Families Support Group and some 180 prospective individuals are to take action for misfeasance in public office for the wrongdoing of the public officials and bodies concerned. We anticipate applying to be the lead solicitors in a Group Litigation Order in the early new year. The scale of the Hillsborough cover up is such that we needed to add to our team to get the work done"
Saunders Law has been instructed by the Hillsborough Families Support Group in their fight for justice, following the publication of the Report of the Hillsborough Independent Panel on 12 September 2012. The Report revealed a widespread police cover up, in which at least 116 witness statements were doctored to cast police in a favorable light as against those who died and Liverpool fans generally.
