 Week 5 – Prioritise your workload.

Dealing with big workloads, urgent deadlines and managing various aspects of your day-to-day responsibilities can lead to increased stress levels. The key to prioritising your workload is to understand where to begin and plan your response, action or request, above all be realistic with your time and don’t put additional pressure on yourself.

Remember to decide the order of importance and urgency by producing a to do list and setting up crucial tasks in your calendar with frequent reminders. Everyone will have their own workloads to commit to, however working to a deadline might require some assistance, if you can delegate tasks to a member of your team.  Setting clear, structured, and organised boundaries for your tasks will help everything run efficiently.

Refusing to be distracted by others will also help to meet deadlines and relieve stress.
