Jag is a solicitor in the Civil Liberties & Police Misconduct team at Saunders Law. He joined the firm in January 2017 as a paralegal and then undertook his training contract within the department. Prior to joining Saunders Law he worked as a paralegal for another leading firm specialising in civil liberties work.

Jag has many years’ experience in actions against the police, prisons and other public authorities, as well as inquests, judicial reviews and public inquiries.

He has particular interests in claims involving police violence motivated by discrimination, claims involving privacy rights and data protection, and actions brought on behalf of political protestors.

He holds an LLM in Computer & Communications Law which he read at Queen Mary University of London in 2014-2015, focusing on emerging technologies and the implications for privacy and freedom of expression. He received the law school academic prize for his work.

Jag has a steadfast dedication to holding powerful state institutions to account and upholding the rights of underprivileged and vulnerable people.
