A lifetime’s experience of traditional crime and appellate work.

A lecturer and commentator on criminal law; a leader in forensic issues in crime; noted as a leading criminal lawyer in “The Legal 500” and “Chambers Directory”; described by “The Legal 500” as a ‘consummate strategist, and his judgment on the long view of cases is spot on’. One of The Lawyer’s ‘Hot 100’ lawyers for 2013.

Additionally, now heads teams on Regulatory and Litigation law cases. Recent cases of note include:
