Samantha Aidoo-Finnegan is a solicitor in the Human Rights department.
Samantha joined Saunders Law in July 2021 as a paralegal and qualified with the firm in October 2025. She is developing a practice in civil claims against state authorities and has gained extensive experience working on public inquiries, including the Infected Blood Inquiry, Undercover Policing Inquiry, Covid-19 Inquiry and the Grenfell Tower Inquiry.
A career changer, Samantha came to the law following a successful career as a campaigner for international development NGOs. She has a strong background in advocacy and social justice, and has a particular interest in using campaigning strategies to support clients’ cases.
Samantha is a member of the Police Actions Lawyers Group (PALG), Inquest Lawyers Group (ILG), The Haldane Society of Socialist Lawyers and the Black Solicitors Network.
She holds an undergraduate degree in Law from the University of East Anglia, and a master’s degree in Human Rights from the London School of Economics. In 2022, she successfully completed the Legal Practice Course (LPC) from the University of Law with Distinction.
