Ben is a Senior Associate in Saunders Law’s Human Rights and Public Inquiries Team.

Ben completed his training contract at an international law firm in February 2019 and left upon qualification to pursue a career with a focus on human rights.

At Saunders Law, Ben has a mixed practice focusing on public inquiries, inquests and civil claims against public bodies. Ben has worked on multiple public inquiries including the Grenfell Tower Inquiry, the Infected Blood Inquiry and the Undercover Policing Inquiry.

In addition to a focus on public inquiries, Ben has a particular interest in inquests and civil claims against public bodies arising out of the use of force, discrimination and the right to protest. Ben also retains an interest in international human rights, having completed a master of laws (LLM) in Public International Law.

Ben’s approach is motivated by his unwavering commitment to access to justice for all, particularly the most vulnerable and marginalised members of society.
