On 7 September 2026, Head of Crime & Regulatory Dept Ali Parker was featured on ITV News commenting on new allegations against serial rapist Zhenhao Zou.

Ali was asked about the factors the Crown Prosecution Service would be weighing up before bringing new charges against Mr Zou, already sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 24 years.
