Nigel joined Saunders in November 2023, as a media lawyer with many years of experience of working with clients in the creative content sector, including rightsholders and those that commercialise rights primarily focused on music, theatre, books, photography, image and emerging and new technologies.
Nigel has a particular interest in technical and commercial innovations in the media sector, Nigel has advised clients from start up to fruition but also individual artists, SMO’s, management, promoters, and large international companies including major record labels and publishers, and many diverse businesses drawn from across the media industry.
Nigel advises on IP and commercial contractual matters, business affairs, creative content commercialisation and protection, strategic ventures and opportunities, and the initial stages of dispute resolution.
Nigel steeped in the charitable sector including having been co-trustee and driver of versus cancer, a Manchester based charity raising fund by promoting concerts at the Manchester Arena and also been and still a trustee of other charities.
